Medicinal Native Plants
Join herbalist Sue Bara to learn about native plants for respiratory and nervous system support, and how to best use them for your own well-being. Receive a DIY herb kit for making respiratory syrup at home. Some of the native plants that we’ll discuss: Goldenrod, Elderberry, Hawthorn, Rose and Prickly Pear.
Sue is an herbalist, naturalist, and habitat steward with a passion for ethnobotany. She is a 2012 graduate of David Winston’s Center for Botanical Studies, where her training included herbs of Native American, Western, Ayurveda, Unani Tibb, and Traditional Chinese systems of medicine. She has taught with Delaware Society and Mt Cuba, volunteers at free herb clinics on Navajo Nation, and enjoys helping people reconnect with plants and medicine.
