Fall is for Planting Keystone Plants

LSLT staff member Beth Sheppard will discuss pollen plants that fuel our native insects and pollinators which are critical in every garden. She will highlight her top 10 tried and true choices of native perennials, shrubs and trees which work in our ecotone region #8 along the Lower Shore.  What better time to but plant in the fall so that your garden is ready to welcome early spring pollinators.
Beth Sheppard, an environmental professional returned to Worcester County after 25-years operating a landscape company in Wilmington, North Carolina. There she specialized in perennials, trees and unique projects with a focus on “No Grass Gardens”. She has a master’s degree from University of NC Wilmington and is a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape professional.
