Garden Design for Everyone – Amanda Kathryn Sunday, April 14 10am – 12pm
Share Sunday morning with a garden designer and get tips used by
professional landscapers for your own garden designs. You explore the essential
elements needed to create a successful plan. Do you already have a space in your
yard in mind? This is the perfect workshop to trigger your creativity in a new way.
Of course, the focus will be on naturalized landscapes within an ecological
gardening mindset. Bring images or sketches of your garden, yard, space(s) to
reference during class. You’ll have the opportunity design a garden, select plants
and critique your efforts with Amanda’s guidance.
Currently, Amanda is pursuing a certificate of Merit in Landscape Design through
Longwood Gardens. She holds a Master of Science degree and Natural Resources
from Delaware State University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in
Aquaculture from the University of New England. She has studied herbalism at
Wild Ginger Herbal Center and Owlcraft healing Ways.
