Grow Your Healing Garden

Curious about herbs you and grow and use to support your health? Discover culinary herbs and native plants that can be used as home remedies, and create a container healing garden to take home. Bring your own pot large enough for three herb plants or purchase one from our collection, and get your questions answered by Sue Bara an expert in the field.

Sue is an herbalist, naturalist, and habitat steward with a passion for ethnobotany. She is a 2012 graduate of David Winston’s Center for Botanical Studies, where her training included herbs of Native American, Western, Ayurveda, Unani Tibb, and Traditional Chinese systems of medicine. She has taught with Delaware Nature Society and Mt Cuba Center, volunteers at free herb clinics on Navajo Nation, and enjoys helping people reconnect with plants and medicine.
